One person was killed and three other people were injured in a four-car crash on State Route 149 in Montgomery County on Monday afternoon.

Police say Linda Boren was driving westbound when she crossed the center line and hit the rear side of a Chevrolet Equinox. Boren's Toyota Camry then sideswiped a third vehicle.

A Ford F150 swerved to avoid the crash and ended up being hit head-on by Boren's car.

Boren, 74, of Tennessee Ridge, was killed in the crash. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, officials do not believe she was drinking or using drugs.

The driver of the Equinox, 20-year-old Jessica Konesky, was injured.

The driver of the pickup truck, 47-year-old Leon Hyndman, was also injured, along with his passenger, 48-year-old William Davis Jr.

One victim was airlifted to a hospital in Nashville. Two of the victims were transported to a Clarksville hospital.

According to the THP report, officials said seat belts would not have made a difference.
