NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police have arrested two men following a month-long investigation into the large scale distribution of meth in the Nashville area.

Detectives say 21-year-old Jose Martin Perez of Elkins, TX, was supplying large amounts of meth to 22-year-old Seruand Rivera of Franklin.

Perez and Franklin were arrested after they met in a Hermitage area parking lot where police said they planned to sell meth that was hidden inside a spare tire.

Police say officers seized more than eight pounds of meth.

Perez and Franklin face drug conspiracy charges. Both men are being held on $100,000 bond each.
