NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The man wanted in the stabbing death at a west Nashville truck lot last month has been arrested in New York City.

Metro police said Christopher Gadsden, 26 was arrested on Thursday in the Bronx.

Gadsden is being held in New York City pending a court appearance and extradition proceedings.

Deon Brown, 24, was found stabbed to death on a secure truck lot at Western Express on Centennial Place last month.

Police said Brown’s vehicle was recovered in Hickory, NC, on Nov. 14. They believe Gadsden drove the vehicle there.

Blood was found inside and  outside of the vehicle because Gadsden had suffered a hand injury. He was treated at an area hospital and released. Efforts to locate him in North Carolina and elsewhere had been unsuccessful until Thursday.
