COLUMBIA, TN (WSMV) -

A third person has been charged in the 2014 murder at the Papa John's in Columbia, according to District Attorney Brent Cooper.

A grand jury indicted Majestick Gillespi on Tuesday. Police took him into custody Wednesday night.

Officials said their investigation finally yielded enough evidence to warrant an arrest.

Gordon Russell Schaffer, 22, was shot and killed on Oct. 20, 2014. He had just started working at the Columbia location.

Surveillance video showed Schaffer cooperating with the robbers, handing over money quickly and without complaint. One of the robbers then shot and killed Schaffer.
