SMYRNA, TN (WSMV) -

Officials in Rutherford County say that no actual threat was made to Stewarts Creek High School in Smyrna, despite a student's report.

A student told police about a social media post involving the school that seemed to be threatening on Wednesday morning.

School resource officers started the investigation before students arrived at school.

The school was placed on a precautionary lockdown until 9:30 a.m.

According to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, school resource officers searched the school but did not find anything "that caused alarm."
