NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A second suspect identified by police for attacking and robbing a woman outside First Tennessee Park last weekend has been arrested the day after the first suspect surrendered to authorities.

Police said Christopher Darnell, 22, was arrested about 1 a.m. Monday for aggravated robbery resulting in serious injury and two counts of fraudulently using the victim's credit card.

On Saturday, Brandon Dotson, 18, of La Vergne, surrendered to officers and was jailed on a charge of aggravated robbery.

Police said Darnell and Dotson are accused of attacking the 59-year-old victim with a metal stake and robbing her as she walked to her Third Avenue North home from a show at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.

Dotson is charged with aggravated robbery resulting in serious injury. He is jailed in lieu of $50,000 bond.
