A father and son face felony drug charges after allegedly meeting with an undercover police officer to sell 100 pain pills.

Jeffery Pignone, 38, and Anthony Pignone, 70, were taken into custody on Monday in a business parking lot on Donelson Pike where police said Jeffery Pignone sold the pills for $2,000.

Anthony Pignone drove his son to the deal. Police searched the vehicle and found an additional 400 pills.

Jeffery Pignone told detectives the pills were shipped to him from the Philippines. His father acknowledged he knew about the shipment and that the pills were to be sold.
