ATLANTA (AP) - Marques Townes scored 18 points, including a key 3-pointer with 6.3 seconds remaining, to lead Loyola to a 69-68 win over Nevada in the NCAA South Regional semifinal. The No. 11-seeded Ramblers continued their improbable NCAA run and are one victory from a Final Four appearance.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee has reached a $2.5 million settlement with John Currie less than four months after he was suspended in the midst of a football coaching search. Currie already had received nearly $280,000 since being placed on paid leave in December. School officials announced Currie will get an additional $2.2 million no later than April 1.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Auston Matthews had a goal in his return from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for 10 games and the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Nashville Predators 5-2. The Predators had been 14-0-1 since their previous regulation loss on Feb. 17. James van Riemsdyk and Mitchell Marner each had a goal and an assist, and William Nylander and Jake Gardiner also scored for Toronto, which has won five of six.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Kemba Walker scored 46 points and made 10 3-pointers, and the Charlotte Hornets rolled to the most lopsided victory in franchise history by beating the Memphis Grizzlies 140-79. Walker had the ninth 40-point game of his career as the Hornets easily overcame the absence of the suspended Dwight Howard.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Stanford has had plenty of success in the women's NCAA Tournament when the Cardinal play in the Bluegrass State. The fourth-seeded Cardinal (24-10) has earned consecutive upsets of top-seeded Notre Dame at Rupp Arena and hope for a three-peat _ this time against No. 1 seed Louisville (34-2). Second-seeded Baylor (33-1) faces No. 6 seed Oregon State (25-7) in the other semifinal.
