Man killed in north Nashville shooting; Search ongoing for 2 gunmen

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police are working to find the gunmen responsible for killing a man who had recently moved to Nashville.

The victim, 24-year-old Robert Richardson, was picking up his co-worker on Saint Louis Street on Monday night.

The co-worker, Chad Miller, told police that he got into an argument with one of the suspects. Miller reportedly told Richardson to get back into his car while he locked up.

Shortly after, shots rang out, and Richardson was hit in the upper left side. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died.

Police are looking for two men in connection with the shooting. A witness told police the men drove off in a silver sedan.
