Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following Clarksville wreck

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after a wreck in Clarksville on Wednesday morning.

The motorcycle and another car collided at the intersection of Madison Street and MLK Jr. Parkway at around 7 a.m.

The motorcycle driver was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The Clarksville Police Department is continuing to investigate what caused the wreck.
