TDOT seeking feedback on I-65 at public meetings

Posted: Updated:

If you've ever wanted to vent about traffic on Interstate 65, now's your chance.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation is hosting public meetings across Middle Tennessee over the next two months.

Anyone who travels I-65 on a regular basis is invited to attend and voice their opinions.

This is part of TDOT's 18-month study, which will cover 120 miles of I-65, all the way from Kentucky to Alabama.

Officials are hoping to identify problem spots and coming up with long-term solutions.

TDOT says they expect to complete the study by summer 2017.

Below is the list of upcoming public meetings:

  • Oct. 18 - 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Downtown Public Library, 615 Church St.
  • Oct. 25 - 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Portland High School, 600 College St.
  • Nov. 15 - 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Williamson County Public Library, 1314 Columbia Ave.
