Metro Council approves downtown pedestrian bridge on final vote

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro Council voted 34-3 Tuesday night to approve a pedestrian bridge connecting the Gulch to downtown Nashville.

City leaders want to sell the Clement Landport to Cummins Station. In exchange, Cummins Station will approve a right-of-way agreement for construction.

The total cost of the deal is $18 million.
