NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Nashville was filled with stars on Sunday night as three of country music's best were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

It is a night that a country music success remembers forever, the night they go into the Hall of Fame.

Charlie Daniels, Randy Travis and Fred Foster are now members of that prestigious club.

"If you want a hit record, if you keep cutting records and keep trying, you might get one. This place here, there is no lobbying. You even don't know who's voting, it's a very secret thing," Daniels said.

Fellow Hall of Famers never even dream of getting things like this. That is sure the case with Foster, a producer put Dolly Parton, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Roy Orbison on record.

"I never dreamed it would happen to me ... I'm just a country boy, you know? What do I know?" Foster said.

From greats like Kristofferson to rock and Country Hall of Famer Brenda Lee, the Hall of Fame is as big as it gets.

Then there are stars like Travis, whose voice and music is loved around the world.

Travis' career was stopped by a stroke. He was near death when his wife, Mary, told him to fight some more and he did.

"I could see and hear in his voice that he know he had made it, he was with the greatest of the greats in country music," said Mary Travis.

Travis was happy on Sunday night and even gave Channel 4's cameras a big smile and a wave.
