Hendersonville man charged with vehicular homicide

HENDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Hendersonville man has been charged with vehicular homicide after allegedly hitting two pedestrians with his vehicle.

The accident happened on Donmond Drive near Air Float Drive on Saturday. The driver, Chris Solomon, was 43.

After striking the couple, Solomon allegedly did not slow down or stop and was located a few blocks away by the Hendersonville PD.

Both pedestrians, a male and a female, were in critical condition. The male victim later died from his injuries.

Solomon was taken to the Sumner County Jail and is being held on a $300,000 bond.
