Suspect in fatal Hopkinsville shooting arrested in Clarksville

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (WSMV) -

A man who was wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Kentucky has been arrested in Tennessee.

Dorien E. Meullion, 22, was taken into custody on Sunday evening at a home on Polly Drive in Clarksville.

Police said the victim, 24-year-old Tarone Kaire Williams, was shot on Saturday in a gas station parking lot on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville.

After being shot, Williams collided with another vehicle about a block away.

When the police arrived, Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meullion is being held at the Montgomery County Jail awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
