Clarksville police seek help finding Dollar General armed robber

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Clarksville police is trying to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery of a Dollar General store on Tuesday.

Police said the man entered the store on the 100 block of Edmondson Ferry Road between 8:23 and 8:27 p.m. wearing all black clothing and a dark blue bandana covering his face.

The suspect demanded money from the safe while pointing a black handgun at the employee.

The man left in a possibly a 2000 model silver four-door vehicle in an unknown direction of travel.
