Fiona Culley's Bangers and Mash
8 large Cumberland Sausage
10 white potatoes (peeled and chopped)
1/2 salted real butter
1 cup whole milk
2 tbsp whole grain mustard
1 large white onion (chopped)
Bisto gravy granules
3 cups of frozen petit peas
peel potatoes, put in large pot and boil until tender.
Place sausages in large skillet until bronzed.
boil peas in saucepan.
Sautee onions in a skillet.
When potatoes are tender, drain, add milk & butter, and mash until smooth. Add mustard, salt & pepper to taste.
mix up gravy granules, add onions.
serve potatoes with sausages on top. Pour gravy over the top with peas on the side.
