Women's synchronized 3m springboard preview: Wu Minxia targets records

The women's synchronized 3m springboard event is the first event of the 2016 Rio Olympics diving slate, beginning Sunday, Aug. 7, at 3pm ET.

The Format

Synchronized diving events are direct finals with no preliminary or semifinal round. 

Each team will perform five dives. The medalists will be determined based on the five dives performed by each team.
