An Army major will spend 90 days in a U.S. penitentiary and will be dismissed from the military.

That sentence follows a court martial last week that found Christian “Kit” Martin mishandled classified materials and abused his former stepson.

Martin is also the only named person of interest in a triple murder in Pembroke, KY.

A Channel 4 I-Team investigation showed how Martin’s neighbor, Calvin Phillips, found the military equipment and turned it over to the FBI.

Two weeks before Phillips was to testify in the court martial, he, his wife and their neighbor were murdered.

Martin has not been charged in the murders, but the military has identified him as a person of interest.
