More suspects charged in shooting death of Ft. Campbell soldier

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Clarksville police have made additional arrests in the shooting death of a Fort Campbell soldier.

Emmanuel Wallace, 22, has been charged in the killing of Liperial “Savon” Easterling in August. Wallace was one of two suspects named in the early days of the investigation.

Wallace has been charged with first-degree murder, felony murder, aggravated robbery and simple drug possession. His bond was set at $501,000.

Police later announced they had arrested 19-year-old Clinton Hunter III and 23-year-old Detarius Curry in connection to Easterling’s killing.

Hunter was charged with criminal responsibility for facilitation of a felony and tampering with evidence. His bond was set at $50,000.

Curry was charged with tampering with evidence. His bond was also set at $50,000.

Joshua Aretz, 21, was already in police custody for prior charges when he was named a suspect in Easterling’s killing. He has been charged with first-degree murder, felony murder and aggravated robbery. His bond was set at $500,000.
