GALLATIN, TN (WSMV) -

A former employee at Logan’s Roadhouse in Gallatin said she had to endure racial slurs and burning crosses from coworkers and management.

Keota Miligi said her coworkers made her feel less than welcome.

“They were burning crosses, saying they were the KKK, making KKK hats,” Miligi said. “Writing ‘Nazi’ down like right here. They wrote ‘Nazi’ down on a box.”

Miligi said she quit when she saw the word written on a box.

“I took it as a warning, because they were going from comments to actually doing things,” she said.

Miligi said some of her managers were also participating, so she called Logan’s Roadhouse corporate. She said they suggested she get another job.

She said she recorded her phone call with corporate.

“I know that’s your job. You’ve been there a long time. Why do you stay there?” the person she spoke to said.

Miligi also said she made a recording of a manager warning employees that a corporate representative was going to visit.

“There’s a guy coming who works in the home office. We’re going to do our daily stuff, so everybody be on their best behavior, OK?” the manager said on the recording.

“No racial slurs?” an employee asked.

Logan’s Roadhouse sent Channel 4 the following statement:

At Logan’s Roadhouse, we value every employee and are committed to providing a safe and respectful work environment. We take reports like this very seriously and are conducting our own investigation to determine the facts. Our policies do not allow us to comment further because of pending litigation.

Miligi and her attorney, Roland Mumford, filed a lawsuit in federal court on Wednesday. They are asking for $4 million.
