NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - Former Metro Juvenile Court Clerk Vic Lineweaver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence early Sunday.

According to an affidavit, a Metro police officer stopped the 60-year-old on Old Harding Pike, where his car was allegedly weaving across the road.

The officer claims Lineweaver admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and taking a prescription medication.

The report also states that he exhibited signs of impairment during a field sobriety test.

According to online records, Lineweaver was booked into the Metro jail just after 3 a.m. and released a short time later.

He is scheduled to appear in court May 6.
