1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 inch fresh ginger root, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups steamed carrots, drained
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
Pour orange juice and ginger into ice tray (about six cubes worth) and freeze. When ready to make smoothie, pop the orange-ginger cubes in the blender, then add the carrots and orange juice.
