Aimee Fortney's Sauteed Cherry Tomatoes

Whether you top your pizzas or pasta with this, turn it into bruschetta or just enjoy it as a side dish or the sauce for chicken or fish, these sautéed cherry tomatoes are a quick and easy new way to bring something to the table.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon to 2 tablespoons white wine (I used Trivento Amado Sur Chardonnay)
  • Fresh basil

Heat olive oil, then add tomatoes. Cook for about 3 minutes, then add the garlic and cook another 2 to 3 minutes and add the wine. Top with fresh basil.
