NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - Nashville murder suspect Aaron Dodson, 22, was booked into the Metro jail on $500,000 bond early Sunday.

Police had been searching for him since the September shooting death of Ricky Burgett, Jr.

Burgett was killed during a home invasion at his apartment on Welshwood Drive in south Nashville.  His roommate was left unharmed and was able to identify one of the suspects.

Dodson's co-defendant, Oral Patterson, 19, has been jailed since October.

Both men are charged with criminal homicide.

At the time of the murder, Dodson was free on bond after a January arrest on aggravated robbery and burglary charges.
