Aimee Fortney's Pumpkin Baked Brie

When guests start showing up now and in the coming days and next week for Thanksgiving and you aren't quite ready to feed everyone, this is a delicious, quick and easy appetizer to serve and hold everyone over!

  • 1 wedge of brie place on pie pan
  • 3 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon)

Place brie on a pie plate. Mix 3 tablespoons pumpkin puree and 2 tablespoons brown sugar in small sauce pot. Heat this mixture over medium heat and whisk until the brown sugar is dissolved. 

Add 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon) and whisk well. 

Remove from heat and pour this mixture over brie. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese is soft. Serve with crackers or bread of your choice.
