AIMEE FORTNEY'S NOT CHEF, CHEF SALAD

Mixed greens

Deli meat, cut thick, then cut into strips

Cherry tomatoes

Avocado, diced 

Sliced and diced cheese 

Homemade croutons (recipe below)

Sweet Orange and Honey Dressing

Place your greens in a bowl then add your toppings. To make the sweet orange dressing, in a mason jar add 1/2 cup orange juice, 2 Tablespoons honey and 1 Tablespoon olive oil. Shake then add right before serving.

AIMEE FORTNEY'S HOMEMADE CROUTONS

1 loaf crusty bread, cubed and set out to dry out

2 Tablespoons olive oil 

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon freshly grated black pepper

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

In a bowl, mix together bread cubes, olive oil and seasoning. Spread out on an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
