NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro SWAT officers arrested a man accused in the murder of Ricky Burgett, Jr. inside his apartment.

Oral Patterson, 18, was taken into custody without incident Friday afternoon at a fast food restaurant at Trinity Lane and Dickerson Pike.

Patterson was named in an arrest warrant issued Thursday night charging him with criminal homicide.

Aaron Dodson, 22, has also been named as a suspect in the murder and remains at large.

According to police, 27-year-old Burgett arrived at his apartment in the 400 block of Welshwood Drive around 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 21. Two intruders then entered and began demanding money from a roommate. Burgett was confronted in the bathroom, where he was fatally wounded.

The two intruders, believed to be Dodson and Patterson, then fled the apartment.

Burgett was driven to Southern Hills Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone with information about Dodson's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
