Chef Paulette's Hot Dog Pizza

1/2 lb. pizza dough (Publix sells a 1 lb. bag of pizza, cut it in half or make a double recipe)

2 tablespoons mustard

5-6 slices thin sliced swiss cheese

2 hot dogs, cut into bite-sized pieces

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Make sure the pizza dough is at room temperature. On a lightly-floured work surface press out with your fingers the dough into a flat circle. You can make it bigger by stretching it gently by holding the dough over your fists and moving the dough around so its own weight stretches it.

Line a sheet pan or cookie sheet with parchment and coat with a thin film of olive oil. Place dough circle on top. Spread the mustard on the pizza leaving a border for crust. Rip 2-3 slices of the cheese into smaller pieces and cover the mustard. Scatter the hot dog pieces on top. Then top with the remaining slices of cheese.

Bake for about 20 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
