DECATURVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says the brother of one of the suspects in the Holly Bobo case has been arrested.

According to the TBI, 26-year-old John Dylan Adams of Decatur County has been charged with one count of tampering with evidence in connection to the case.

He is the brother of Zachary Rye Adams, who is charged with felony murder and aggravated kidnapping in the case. Zachary Adams was arrested and charged earlier this year.

The TBI said in a statement that Dylan Adams "disposed of items he knew to be of evidentiary value to the case" on the day that Bobo went missing.

Bobo, a 20-year-old nursing student, disappeared from her Darden home on April 13, 2011.

"Really, I'm not surprised," said Pastor Don Franks, the Bobo family's pastor. "Law enforcement has been saying they believed there were others who were involved in this heinous crime, and they were not going to stop until they brought every single one of them to justice."

Dylan Adams was arrested on Wednesday night and booked into the Madison County jail. He is being held without bond.

The TBI is back at the Adams' family home and has a vehicle parked in the driveway along with several other unmarked cars. There is no word on what they're searching for.

Cindy Adams, mother of Dylan and Zachary Adams, spoke about the latest developments:

"To my knowledge, my son was released from jail on all criminal charges on Aug. 13 and was in protective custody of the TBI as a state witness. We have not been contacted by the authorities.

"The family was not aware of what led to the arrest of my son.

"We are confused and perplexed about any additional charges that have been brought upon Dylan, and we have major concerns with this investigation."

This arrest comes after Holly Bobo's remains were found in Decatur County earlier this month. Two Benton County men discovered a human skull while searching for ginseng in a remote, wooded area off of County Corner Road near Holladay. The TBI has since cleared the scene of that search area.

Shortly after Bobo's remains were identified, Decatur County Sheriff Keith Byrd held a news conference and said additional arrests in the case would be forthcoming.

"I think the one thing that surprised us is that it appears now there were several individuals who had knowledge of this kidnapping and murder," said Franks. "And there are others out there who still need to come forward. There is still information that would be very helpful to law enforcement."

Jason Wayne Autry is also charged with kidnapping and murder in the case.

Jeffrey Pearcy and his stepbrother, Mark Pearcy, are both charged with tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact.
