WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

A US Coast Guard crew and a member from the National Park Service stepped up to rescue and release a loggerhead sea turtle.

A good Samaritan boater reported the turtle after it had become entangled in a line dragging a plastic bucket near the Bonner Bridge on the Outer Banks.
