NC man arrested on more than 10 drug charges

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. -

The owner of a tattoo shop in Roanoke Rapids was arrested and charged with a number of drug charges after a search warrant executed at his shop Friday evening revealed drugs, paraphernalia and over $3,000.

Tony Lee “Beetlejuice” Taylor, 47, of Pleasant Hill, has been charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, maintain dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession schedule III controlled substance, two counts of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule IV controlled substance, and possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance.

The search warrant executed at his shop, Grateful Deadication Tattoos, turned up approximately 40 grams of marijuana, 54 oxycodone, 33 alprazolam, one hydrocodone, one clonazepam, four Xanax pills, 20 individually wrapped bags of cocaine, several item of drug paraphernalia that included digital scales and small plastic baggies, and over $3,100.00.

Taylor was processed at the Halifax County Sheriff's Office under a $50,000 secured bond. He has a scheduled court appearance on Oct. 1, 2014.
