TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The Southern Arizona DUI Task Force will again patrol the streets this holiday weekend to look for impaired drivers.

At least 80 officers with the multi-agency task force will patrol Southern Arizona.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department, Tucson Police Department, Oro Valley Police Department and the Arizona Department of Public Safety will participate in patrols Friday night.

"Our ultimate goal tonight is not to have any DUI arrests whatsoever but to educate the public and hopefully get people home safely this evening for the holiday weekend," said Officer Greg Burgess with Oro Valley Police.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department has scheduled a DUI checkpoint Saturday night.

The DUI saturation patrols are funded by the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety.
