3 charged in numerous auto burglaries

GALLATIN, TN (WSMV) -

Police in Gallatin have arrested three suspects, including one juvenile, in connection with numerous auto burglaries.

During its investigation into the burglaries, which occurred mostly in residential neighborhoods, the Gallatin Police Department identified three suspected connected to many burglaries in multiple jurisdictions.

Gallatin residents Tyler Butler, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile were arrested Tuesday night. Nashville resident Dakota Emler, 18, was arrested Wednesday night.

Search warrants were served at the residences of both adults. Police say great amounts of stolen property were recovered.

In addition to the burglaries in Gallatin, police say the suspects have been connected to other auto burglaries in Sumner County, Millersville and Nashville. The suspects face charges in those cities and possibly others. Police say the suspects targeted unlocked vehicles.

Anyone with any information concerning unsolved auto burglaries that occurred in Gallatin since January 2014 is asked to call the Gallatin Police Department at 615-452-1313.
