Posted: Updated:
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help looking for a car involved in a hit and run.

It all began on Monday night in a Fry's parking lot at Irvington and Campbell on the south side.  The hit and run involved two vehicles, one of which hit the passenger of the other car, after they got out of the vehicle.  The incident started when the two cars got into an accident, but it did not stop there. After the accident one of the cars took off, according to police, the other car followed it from Irvington Road to Tucson Boulevard.  That is where the passenger got hurt after leaving the car to confront the other driver.  The passenger was taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Police are saying the car that hit the person and took off is a blue or green four door Volkswagen sedan.

Anyone with information on this car please call 911 or 88-CRIME.
