A Lake Charles man, Rick Buller, found old photo wheels with picture slides where his aunt works, Brussard Gregg and Neal Bookkeeping and Tax Service in Lake Charles. These photos became a mission for him to find out whose they were.

According to Buller, most looked like old war and family photos that appear to be from the 1940s or 1950s and he said, "We started kind of looking through it like that's somebody's family."

He found three projector wheels and each one holds anywhere from 80 to 140 slides.

Buller said, "I'm a digger. I like to dig and I'm always that type of person. I just want to know. It was interesting, something to look into and reunite."

He set out on a mission to do so and after checking old records he found out who previously owned the building and came in touch with Alecia Moran of Sulphur. He looked her up in the phone book and asked if she recognized the people in the photo slides.

Moran said, "When he showed me the picture I knew that was most likely my grandmother on my dads side and my mom came in and confirmed it."

Moran's father passed away more than 20 years ago and she said, "I've never seen any pictures before of my dad when he was younger. We have like 2 pictures that's it."

Now, she had pictures of her father as a child, her aunt, and her grandparents. Her aunt had been searching for the pictures for years.

Moran said to her aunt's response on the phone,"I almost couldn't get my aunt off the phone she was so excited and crying, she couldn't believe it."
