MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

A 16-year-old boy has been reported missing from a Murfreesboro home after a dispute with his family.

Police said Josh Elmore, 16, left home last Thursday morning on his black mountain bike after having his phone and other privileges taken away for disciplinary reasons.

Family told police that Elmore threatened to kill himself or run away.

According to police, a neighbor may have seen Elmore place the bike into the back of a red pickup truck and leave with the driver of the truck.

Elmore, who is 5'10" and weighs 150 pounds, was last seen wearing black shorts and a black T-shirt.

Contact Murfreesboro Police at 615-893-1311 or 1-800-TBI-FIND if you have information about Elmore's disappearance.
