It's starting to look a lot like Christmas at Gaylord Opryland.

The resort and convention center started hanging the more than 2 million Christmas lights it uses to decorate for its A Country Christmas celebration Friday afternoon.

The new lineup for this year's celebration including some new attractions, including Arctic Plunge Snow Tubing.

"This extreme six-lane tubing hill will be covered with 1.5 million pounds of real snow. We'll also have a 6,000 square foot outdoor ice rink complete with private, rink-side cabanas and a DJ spinning tunes on the weekends," said Pete Weien, GM of Gaylord Opryland.

The event begins with the tree lighting ceremony Nov. 13.
