Police are searching for two men who attempted to rob two different convenience stores Tuesday night.
One of the men wore the same white mask at both locations.
In the first robbery attempt, one of the crooks had a silver gun and went to the clerk at the Quick Mart and demanded money.
According to news partner The Daily Herald, the clerk ducked under the counter, called for a co-worker and hit the silent alarm.
That scared the men off.
About 30 minutes later, the same men robbed a Shell station in Spring Hill.
Columbia police said the suspect and his partner are very dangerous, especially considering they weren't afraid to move on and rob another store after the first attempt.
Witnesses said the man's friend wore an American flag bandana over his face.
Both suspects are still on the run.
