The driver of a semi was injured after crashing into a vacant building in Montgomery County on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say the tractor-trailer was hauling concrete culverts on State Route 149.
Witnesses say the driver was attempting to pass vehicles on the roadway and was blowing the horn.
Officials say the tractor-trailer then crossed into the intersection of State Route 48 and State Route 149, where it hit a Chevy Trailblazer before turning left into a parking lot and hitting the abandoned building. The building used to be a Dollar General store.
Nicholas Clenin, 29, of New Mexico has been identified as the driver of the tractor-trailer. He was injured and taken to Gateway Hospital.
The driver of the Trailblazer, 21-year-old Dale Harrell from Montgomery County, was also injured in the crash and was taken to Gateway Hospital.
So far, police have not indicated if any charges will be filed.
