GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

A 28-year-old Glendale man was arrested on suspicion of downloading images of child pornography to his cell phone after an anonymous caller said he had found the images on the suspect's phone.

The caller's message to Silent Witness said he came into possession of the cell phone, knew who it belonged to, that it contained child pornography and that he wanted to turn it in for money, according to a Glendale police officer's probably cause statement.

Representatives of the Arizona Department of Child Safety contacted the phone's owner, Andrew Banda, and told him about the caller and the accusations, according to the statement.

Banda told the representatives that his phone did contain images of child pornography and that whoever had the phone was also texting his mother asking for money for the cell phone, according to the statement.

Police contacted the person with the phone and it was turned in to Glendale police by a third party, according to the statement.

Police searched the contents of the phone and found at least 10 images of child pornography.

Glendale police arrested Banda on Friday on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
