MEMPHIS, TN -
(WMC) - An off-duty Memphis Police officer attacked a Make-A-Wish family twice. It was all part of an attempt to steal a $1,500 gift card.

Airport surveillance cameras caught both attacks on video.

In the video you can see Ronald Harris grab a bag and make a bee line to the door. The Make-A-Wish child's father acts fast and steals the bag back before Harris can make it outside.

Later, Harris makes his way down a hall with security tailing him. Before they can do anything, Harris sprints towards the Make-A-Wish child's mother.

He hit the father in the forehead before getting knocked to the ground. MPD officers eventually take Harris into custody.

An incident report says Harris is seeing a clinical psychologist and is delusional. Harris is scheduled to appear in court next week.

Make-A-Wish is now reviewing their policies to make sure something like this never happens again.
