NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The driver who struck and killed a man who had been resting on a sidewalk bench in downtown Nashville has been indicted and arrested.

Mina Wahba, 23, was indicted by the Davidson County Grand Jury on charges of vehicular homicide, reckless endangerment and driving without proof of insurance in the Feb. 27 collision.

Police say Wahba was behind the wheel of a 2000 Toyota Camry traveling westbound on Church Street when witnesses reported the car ran the red light at Seventh Avenue, hit another car in the intersection and careened into the bench on which 56-year-old Philip Radican was sitting.

Radican died at the scene.
