TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Dozens of companies that sell e- cigarettes are meeting in Tucson.  It's the first conference of its kind here in town and as their business is growing they say their worries are also growing.

More than 100 exhibitors are inside the Tucson Expo Center for the Vape Expo 2014.
The growing trend of e cigarettes has exhibitors from across the nation showing off newly designed vapes, e-cigs-e-hookahs, e-liquids and much more.

Organizers say Tucson is a new area for them and they are seeing growing demand of what they call vaping products in the area.  With the growing demand comes the issue of regulating all these products.

Some companies at the expo say they're worried about meeting the recently proposed regulations by the FDA on e cigarettes.  The regulations would require full ingredient disclosure, federal approval and warning labels. Many e-cigarette companies are trying to follow those rules now.

Ben Bolick works with vaping company, White Rhino USA.
"I feel like the regulations are going to be really good for us, Bolick said. "Right now, the market is flooded a lot and it needs to be regulated, because there are a lot of people out there doing this out of their own homes. I feel like once the regulations go into place, it will help to bring more safety and security."

Yuri Frants, the show coordinator for the expo says,"There are always going to be negatives and positives to everything. I think it's a really big positive. It's a very big growing market and I think it's here to stay."

Those who want to attend will have the opportunity to share their opinions and rate new products. The vape fair will run Saturday and Sunday. For more information click here.
