CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The family of a teenager shot last weekend in a Clarksville club says it has left her paralyzed.

The shooting happened Saturday night at the Red Zone club near Austin Peay State University.

Witnesses say a fight broke out on the dance floor, and someone fired shots into the crowd.

Three people were injured, including 19-year-old April Madison, who was shot in the back.

Her father said Wednesday that despite the life-changing diagnosis, she is remaining positive.

"She's taking it well, being a 19-year-old. This tragedy that happened to her, she's actually doing a real good job. She's staying strong, staying positive. It's a long road ahead of rehabilitation, but she is doing well," said the victim's father, Marvin Madison.

Witnesses say they never saw the shooter.

Clarksville police are looking for 19-year-old Arxavier Osborne, who is believed to have been at the club during the time of the shooting.

Police were also looking for 19-year-old Taivaun Bell in connection to the shooting but say he has turned himself in on an aggravated burglary charge.

If you have information on Osborne's whereabouts or the shooting, contact Clarksville police at 931-645-TIPS.
