North Canton man stabbed by teen

NORTH CANTON, OH (WOIO) -

The North Canton Police are investigating a stabbing Saturday, April 26 that allegedly happened at the hands of a young teenage boy riding a red bicycle. 

According to police the violent attack happened at 1:30 p.m. on Allison Place Northwest. A 39-year-old man called police to tell them that he was stabbed while walking. The victim describes his attacker as being a young teenage boy, about 13-years-old, with curly brown hair. 
The assailant is believed to have been wearing a black hoodie and riding a red bike. 

The man who was stabbed is being treated for his wounds at a local hospital. Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call North Canton Police Detective Hemric. That number is 330-499-5911.
