TPAC announces change to upcoming Broadway series lineup

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The Tennessee Performing Arts Center has announced a change to its upcoming 2014-2015 Broadway season.

Due to a change in the production's touring schedule, Evita will be replaced by the musical Camelot.

First-year tour Broadway shows Newsies, Pippin and Kinky Boots highlight the schedule, which also includes the Nashville debut of ONCE - the winner of eight Tony Awards in 2012.

The Book of Mormon will return for a one-week run in November.

The full lineup of the 2014-2015 HCA/TriStar Health Broadway at TPAC series and special presentations is listed below:

  • ONCE – Sept. 16-21
  • Chicago with John O'Hurley – Oct. 21-26
  • Evita – Nov. 4-9
  • Kinky Boots – Feb. 3-8, 2015
  • Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – Feb. 17-22, 2015
  • Pippin – March 10-15, 2015
  • Newsies – May 26-31, 2015

  • The Book of Mormon – Nov. 18-23
  • Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer – Dec. 16-21
  • Blue Man Group – Jan. 6-11, 2015

Anyone who has renewed or purchased season ticket packages can call TPAC at 615-782-6560 to learn how the schedule change affects their plans for the coming season.

Season tickets and group tickets are now available, and single tickets for individual shows will go on sale approximately six to eight weeks prior to the performance.
