Green Hope topped the list of nearly 520 schools across the state. Green Hope topped the list of nearly 520 schools across the state.

Cary’s Green Hope High School was named the top high school in North Carolina by the U.S. News and World Report.

Green Hope topped the list of nearly 520 schools across the state.

Three other Wake County schools were ranked in the top 10. Panther Creek was listed at No. 3, Cary High School at No. 8 and Holly Springs was listed at No. 10.

U.S. News used criteria such as class size, college readiness, and algebra and English prophecies to compile the list.
