NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

First Tennessee Bank has bought the naming rights to the new Nashville Sounds ballpark, which will be named First Tennessee Park.

Frank Ward, the owner of the Nashville Sounds Baseball Club, made the announcement on Tuesday morning.

The stadium is being built on the site of the old Sulphur Dell stadium between Jackson and Harrison streets on one side and Third and Fifth avenues on the other.

The ballpark will have 8,500 fixed seats, a huge parking lot and a pedestrian greenway, among other things.

Construction is expected to be completed by the 2015 season.
