Spa workers arrested on prostitution charges

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Oro Valley Police arrested two workers at an Oro Valley spa after an investigation into alleged  prostitution at the business.

The Oro Valley Police Department launched an investigation following multiple reports of suspicious activity at Oro Spa in the 10000 block of North Oracle Road.

Surveillance of the spa over the course of several weeks revealed there were multiple transactions of sex acts in exchange for money, according to OVPD. 

Authorities booked 44-year-old Hong Chen and 48-year-old Kongmei Wang into the Pima County Adult Detention Center on April 16 on charges of prostitution and practicing massage without a license.
